Character Description:
Matt is a man that loves to be intimidating to others, wanting people to back away and shy from his presence, rather than feeling comfortable enough to engage with him in random conversation. He has dark brown hair, cut into a messy fohawk, where he shaved his name into the left side of his head.
Matt stands at 6'3 with tanned skin, and a well toned and lithe body. He always seems to have a mischievous glint in his eyes and a cocky smile that only causes people to guard their possessions. Matt managed to save his favorite street fighting clothes from ruin. The ensemble consisting of a black leather jacket and bands, a white button up, and black skinny jeans with black combat boots. Matt also always has his hands wrapped, and in his finger-less leather gloves, so that he is ready to fight at any given second. Matt has a tattoo on his upper right chest that reads 'Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, Rage against the dying of the light.' Usually only a portion of this tattoo is seen while he is wearing his white button up.
Character Personality:
If you were to sum Matt's personality into one word, it would be cocky. He has little to no doubt in his own skills, and if he were to be stuck on an island with someone... He would most definitely pick himself. He has very little faith in others, and if he wants something done, he will do it himself rather than ask for the help of others. He is very prideful, and it is rare for him to do anything that will make him appear weak or manipulated.
Matt doesn't like to get close to others for the simple fact that they all leave eventually, and he would prefer not to waste his time in creating bonds that others can break so easily. If you were ever to get lucky enough to create some sort of bond with Matt, breaking down the several walls he builds between himself and others, than he will prove to be a great friend. Always willing to risk himself for his friends wants or needs. It however, is very rare for anyone to get this close to him, and those that consider themselves friends to him, are only considered as usable pawns to Matt.
Matt has little fear for danger, and is always heading head first into fights, never fully thinking things out. This causes him to get into a lot of trouble, and he has gotten hurt multiple times because of his impulsive behavior. Matt's impulsive behavior goes even further than fighting, with his filter-less mouth that always says exactly what he is thinking without regards to other peoples feelings. This at times causes others to hold malicious feelings for him, but this is not considered a bad thing for Matt, for he sees it as a way to keep people at a distance.
Matt also has a very quick temper, and it does not take much for him to get fired up, especially when his teasing and bantering only comes back to bite him. He won't allow anyone to degrade him, and although he is normally quick to fight, if he is around pawns (comrades) he will simply yell and throw a fit. Sort of like a child in some ways. He loves to tease and make others irritated, and will often flirt with anything that walks and fits his ideal. He always finds it amusing to witness other peoples reactions to what he does, but he does have rare moments in which he feels bad for taking things to far.
Matt isn't one to talk about himself, but he is always willing to listen to the thoughts and feelings of others, hoping to figure out the emotions behind them, and see how their mind works opposed to his. Matt loves information, and feels he has to be in the know of everything, simply because he wants to use any sort of information for his own benefit.
Despite the fact that Matt is constantly trying to make himself appear tough, and with little flaw. Matt has a dark secret that he is always trying to hide... He absolutely adores cute things. Plushies, charms, animals... It doesn't really matter.As long as it is cute, you can guarantee that Matt will be gushing over it. He tries to hide it from others, but is often found out, for his bag is filled with all sorts of cute charms, and when he sees something cute... He just has to have it.
Matt also is very kind to children, some how managing to hold his tongue when he is around them, simply for the fact that he sees them as pure and worthy of existence. Well, until they make it to their tweens and just become incompetent, and annoying to him. If Matt is caught being kind to a kid, he will often play it off like he is just pretending to be kind, so that he may have another useful pawn in the future. If found with cute items however, He will simply glow a bright red, and deny it for all that he is worth.

Character History:
Matt didn't grow up the privileged life, but he was far from being unhappy. He had a great family whom he loved dearly, and he even had a few good friends that he held close. Sure he had to work harder than most of the other kids to get what he wanted, but it never really bothered him. Well, that is, until the day that both his mother and father died by the hands of some thug that had wanted to be initiated in the neighborhood gang. He was only thirteen at the time, and so this made a huge impact upon his life. Cameron took care of Matt from then on, but things were no longer the same, not only did the two brothers have to work even harder to make a living, but Cameron had changed.
The fun loving and caring brother that Matt had come to love, but was instead replaced by a harsh and cold man who seemed to care for nobody. He never talked to Matt, and was constantly drinking his life away, complaining about every little thing, and taking his stress out on the younger boy. This caused Matt to grow tougher, and have little faith for those around him, and it wasn't long before he finally joined the streets himself. Only unlike the gang members around him, Matt found solace in his illegal street fighting and gambling. He didn't have to work as hard for his things, for if he wanted something he could fight others for the cash or for the item itself. He became both feared and hated by those around him, but he had as much care for those people as they did him.
Matt continued his life in this manner, until one day, Cameron never returned home from work. Matt paid little mind to it the first week, but after the second and third, he became worried. He attempted to call his brother multiple times, only to find out that it was no longer existing. He found himself constantly searching for his brother, but after a year of finding nothing... Matt gave up.
He started moving from house to house, using those around them to get what he needed. He never stayed at one place for more than a few weeks before heading off to a new home. This aspect of Matt's hasn't really changed, but for the fact that it is much harder for him to find some place to rest his head at night, and rather than just being concerned of the next street fight. He must also focus on surviving in this new world.
